Opening exports in Excel
Open the CSV file in Excel. If everything appears in one column, use Excel’s text/CSV import option and choose a comma delimiter. Menu names can vary by Excel version.
When importing, check the preview and choose column formats deliberately—especially identifiers and dates. Keep the original CSV as a reference. Excel-friendly output is the product direction, not a promise of native .xlsx export.
